Taking a minute outside of ourselves gives us both perspective and a little breathing room from our stress. Especially if it's for a good cause. Living Beyond Breast Cancer was founded in 1991 and is on a mission "to empower all women affected by breast cancer to live as long as possible with the best quality of life." The LBBC has a great event coming up in May...Yoga Unites! And yoga is great for all of us, women and men. The event is a basic, outdoor yoga class and Healthy Living Expo in Philadelphia to benefit women affected by breast cancer.
Somewhere in our six degrees of separation, the life of someone we know has been affected by this disease. So take that minute outside yourself to visit the LBBC Yoga Unites web site.
