Read All About It.

It's been scary lately how many local shops and businesses have been shutting their doors. Even in our unemployed tough times, it's important to shop locally.

So maybe in between library visits, you can splurge with a purchase at a local bookshop. The bookshop is one of those places that make a neighborhood feel like a neighborhood.

The
City Paper just did a cover story on this very topic. Give the article a read to find even more local book spots. And maybe stop by an indie coffeehouse to start reading your new buy! Oh and these shops have some cool in-store events too.
